Night of Broken Blades
A disaster in 7062. Woodcutters tried to harvest ancient sugi trees at the abandoned Tan Sugi Monastery. They returned to Willowshore with broken weapons and undead bodies.
The undead were defeated by morning, but dozens of townsfolk died. The event cemented the monastery’s reputation as cursed or haunted and later contributed to demands for extra supernatural protection at Spider Gate.
