- Remains of Canary Inn
- Spirit of Fang Hong-Rui (Former revolutionary.) with 3 other spirits. Former inhabitants of the inn. From the capital. Says the Governor Heh is a lapdog of the emperor.
- Thinks the inn burned down yesterday (no sense of time. Its been about 2 years)
- Found a cursed cloak. Huli put it on. Found extra loot
- Then FFXIV echo (Haunt) happened of when the inn burned down. Governor Heh and captain Zheng Peng there. Qing Mai-Lai is there (former owner of The Cerulean Teahouse) with Fang Hong-Rui and Kazuma Oono
- The governor caused the fire in the inn but is possessed (thanks to crit perception from Zhang)? Spirit looks like him but evil. Flame turned to Purple Flame
- This is a “Haunt”. It requires appeasement (emotional closure) to end. There is an action “suppress haunt” associated with it.
- Huli ran in and tried to drag out a non existing person from the past.
- Guard captain Peng didn’t really know about what was happening but is somewhat complicit in keeping it a secret. The governor did mean to start the fire but was surprised at its effectiveness (spirit. Purple Flame).

- Time Fog stopped us from accessing Karahai, we turned back towards Willowshore
- Zhang saw that the stars in the sky are from “a month later”
- Made it back to town and yup, we have been gone a month
- Merchant guy Shinzo was able to go to Karahai, grab a chainsword and come back but he has forgotten all the details. Seems he doesn’t get lost but alas he can’t remember anything.
- Huli fam says the town been fairly okay and rebuilding, noted that the Governor was a fairly strong and competent wizard.
