Haunt
People and creatures aren’t the only thing that can be “spirits”.
A location can become a haunt when an overpowering emotion such as anger causes a significant event to happen there. A vision of the past.
The party witnessed a haunt when they visited Canary Inn.
There they saw how Governor Heh tried to lure out the rebels Qing Mai-Lai and Fang Hong-Rui, but were instantly burned when his flames surprisingly turned purple (to the governors eyes only).
It requires appeasement (emotional closure) to end. There is an action “suppress haunt” associated with it.
Haunts cannot lie except by omission.
